looks great. im interested that you guys wear big sports watches like omegas and panerais with formal suits. i have been against this look in the past but have to say you pull it off well. with a suit i tend to wear a 34mm vintage rolex. do you have any thoughts on watch size for particular outfits?
Thanks, all - good friends, good food, good conversation, it was an excellent evening. Anon - personally I wear big watches, like this '70 Seamaster 120, with sportscoats, not suits. I rarely wear a suit myself, but I have smaller vintage watches for when I do.
I dropped into the comments to say that I like the cuff knot in the lapel, but it looks like I was beaten to it (by about a month and a half). Brilliant!
Looks like "a good time was had by all"! The silk knot in the lapel - nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a collection of Omegas. Looks like fun for all.
ReplyDeleteRat Packing it for sure. Wish I was there. Great Blog.
