  2. I must admit to being a bit curious about the hay... part of the store display??

  3. Thanks for the feedback, Paul - my pleasure.

James - It's packing paper - the display is meant to look like the new season has just been shipped in and pulled fresh out of crates and boxes.

  5. I like the knotted links. I have a small collection, some gifts, some picked up over the years. Great fun.

  6. Hi Ethan

If I am seeing correctly, it looks like the double 4 in hand is the tie knot of choice for the displays. I have tried tying this knot on several occasions (on myself, not a mannequin), but never seem to get it sitting in a way that I am happy with it.

Do you have any tips on tying this knot?

    Thanks

  7. Anon - this is a Pratt Knot, rather than a four in hand. Same way to tie it, but wrap it around twice and go back through both. I find the best knots ned the right hsape of tie, should be a tight enough knot that they sit proud from the collar, and have enough symmetry to look interesting. Otherwise, just play until it starts to feel like second nature. Every man's tie knot is entirely his own, and that is as it should be.

-Five- You're always welcome. Next time you are in Sydney, let me know.
